Everybody loves harmony in China. Harmony is good for you, for us, and for others in your life, and in this Website. In order to achieve harmony, we lay out several rules to govern actions and doings in this site. In using this website, you are bound to abide by this Rules of Conduct and other rules set forth in our Terms of Use. We reserve the right, at our discretion, with or without prior notice, to terminate any account or content that we deem fail to follow these Rules of Conduct. We do not tolerate law-violating actions and will report any indictable offences to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.

Below are list of actions that is prohibited to conduct in Chineseye.com, by way of example, and not as limitation:

• 1.Commit any form of racism, xenophobia, negationism, and discriminations. We condemn those acts and will not     tolerate any racist remarks, pictures, or act of insult toward certain community.
• 2.Use the Website in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or     any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
• 3.Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity)     of others.
• 4.Publish, post, upload, distribute, or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent, or     unlawful topic, name, material or information.
• 5.Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, software, or other material protected     by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or by     rights of privacy or publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consent to     do the same.
• 6.Use any material or information, including images or photographs, which are made available through the Services     in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.
• 7.Upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or any other     similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer or property of another.
• 8.Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose, unless such Chineseye specifically     allows such messages in written consent.
• 9.Download any file posted by another user of a Chineseye user that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot     be legally reproduced, displayed, performed, and/or distributed in such manner.
• 10.Falsify or delete any copyright management information, such as author attributions, legal or other proper notices     or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is     uploaded.
• 11.Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Chineseye Services.
• 12.Violate any rules of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular Chineseye Service.
• 13.Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, let it be for commercial use     or non-commercial use.
• 14.Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• 15.Create a false identity for any purpose including for misleading others.
• 16.Use, download, or otherwise copy, or provide (whether or not for a fee) to a person or entity any directory of users     of the Services or other user or usage information or any portion thereof.
• 17.Attempt to circumvent any content filtering techniques we may employ.
• 18.Engage in any predatory or stalking conduct.
• 19.(Trying to) Hack(ing) this Website or any of our Services is strictly prohibited and punishable. We will     CERTAINLY     inform the police, let you be foreigner or local, under any regulative law that may bind you. This     action will result on     prison sentence, deportation, and/or monetary fine.
