Chinese chairman---Hu Jintao light the Olypic flame.
I think he is the first president/chairman who light the Olympic flame. It shows that Chinese government treat this Games as the most important thing.
However I don't think they need do this. The Games is an activity for all human, we should just join it and enjoy it. We don't need to pay much government "Eyes" on it.
